Mario Mattioli was re-elected by acclamation to the presidency of Assorimorchiatori (Italian Association of Owners of trailers). Have been confirmed for the next three years including the entire board of directors and senior figures of the association.
When presenting the program for the new three-year term, Mattioli reiterated that the policy - he explained - "has always aimed to ensure that our companies are serving the ports, maximizing the security of the service subject to economic, in total coordination with the competent authorities and users. In ports where the work associates - continued Mattioli - this policy has led, in recent years, at a rate lower than the average performance level of inflation, responding to the expectations of users and the particular historical and economic moment in which we live.In this context we also shared and implemented the ministerial initiative aimed in the last two years of severe economic crisis, the containment of trailer fees. "
Mattioli said that, without marrying has always been a policy of maximum flexibility that will satisfy the user requirements to the highest standards of safety, Assorimorchiatori is also looking to find a line of dialogue and agreement with its workforce so that - he explained - "is unanimously identified a new form of work organization through greater flexibility, because our work possible, while requiring high doses of professionalism and commitment, shows substantial waiting periods in the course of each work shift."
Operating in more than 25 ports located on the entire Italian coastline, Assorimorchiatori represents over 70% of entrepreneurs in the sector. The Governing Council shall hold office for the next three years, chaired by Mattioli, consists of Bruna Cafiero, Pietrantonio Cafiero, Alberto Delle Piane, Conrad Blacks, Alessandro Russo and Luca Vitiello. Luca Vitiello is president of the Industrial Relations Commission and Pietrantonio Cafiero is chairman of the Port Commission.
