While highlighting the increasing difficulty of predicting the evolution of demand given the macroeconomic uncertainties caused by budget deficits and the level of public debt in Europe and the USA, Konecranes provides that in the coming months the demand for maintenance services will be higher the level of last year thanks to increased capacity utilization by customers of the company and believes that the demand for new vehicles will grow from last year. However, due to the timing of projects for big cranes - said the Finnish company - the quarterly total of new orders can vary significantly.
