In the third trimester of this year the company of Finnlines navigation of the Neapolitan shipowning group Grimaldi has recorded an increment of the profit clearly attested to 6,1 million euros regarding 5,3 million euros in the period July-september of 2012. The revenues instead are diminished of the -7% approximately to 149,7 million euros. In bending also the EBITDA and the EBIT come down to 28,6 million and 11,7 million euros regarding 30,8 million and 14,3 million euros in the third trimester last year.
In the first nine months of the 2013 Finnlines has recorded a net loss of -3,9 million euros on revenues for 433,3 million euros respect to a profit clearly of 5,3 million euros on revenues for 470,9 million euros in the period January-september last year. EBITDA and EBIT are diminished respective of the -19% and the -56% approximately to 63,5 million and 12,8 million euros. In the first nine months of this year the fleet of the company has transported approximately 478 thousand cargo unit (0% on the first nine months of 2012), 43 thousand car (- 14%), beyond 1,6 million tons of not unitizzabili cargos (fleeting +3%) and 443 thousand (- 9%). Today, while, the board of directors of Finnlines has accepted resignation of Uwe Bakosch from managing director and president of the company, having thanked it for the valid contribution assured in the four years and means in which it has covered the two charges. From today Bakosch it will concentrate its activity on the guide of the branch Finnlines Deutschland GmbH. The Board has moreover named new Emanuele Grimaldi CEO and president of the company and which new Jon-Aksel Torgersen chairman.
