In according to trimester of the 2016 traffic of the goods in the port of Marseilles it is dropped of -6,8%



In according to trimester of this year traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Marseilles tons have recorded a decrease of the -6,8% being are pairs almost 18,9 million respect to beyond 20,2 million tons in the period April-june of 2015. The cargos to the disembarkation and the boarding are dropped respective of the -7,7% and the -4,5% to 13,5 million and 5,4 million tons.

The total bending of the traffic is determined mainly by the reduction of the hydrocarbon volumes, that they constitute the primary dealt merceologica voice from the French harbour port of call, but also from the contraction of the volumes of the other liquid bulk, conventional the solid bulk and the goods. The decrease of the traffic, in particular of that oil one, is caused by repeated firm of the harbour activity as a result of strikes that have happened in the months of May and june to the oil terminals of Fos and Lavéra.

In the quarter April-june of the 2016 total of the liquid bulk is piled to 11,0 million tons (- 6.5%), of which 10,3 million tons of hydrocarbons (- 4.5%) and 671 thousand tons of other liquid bulk (- 29.0%). The traffic of the solid bulk is dropped of -17,0% to the 3,2 million one tons.

In the field of the goods several tons are enlivened altogether 4,7 million, with an increase of +1.0% on according to trimester of 2015. The sun goods containerized has remained stable to 3,0 million tons (- 0.4%) and is totaled with a container handling pairs to 309.523 teu (+0.1%), while the rotabili cargos are increased of +9.9% 1,1 million to conventional tons and the goods is diminished of the -7,1% to 545 thousand tons.

In the section of the passengers the traffic has been of 687 thousand people (+6.1%), of which 467 thousand crocieristi (+9.9%) and 226 thousand fleeting of ferries (- 0.4%).

The total of the goods pairs to 39,1 million tons enlivened by the French port in the first half of 2016 have been, with a reduction of -3,2% regarding the 40,4 million one tons in the first six months last year. The cargos to the disembarkation and those to the boarding are dropped respective of the -4,1% and the -0,9% to 28,2 million and 10,9 million tons.

In the first semester of this year the liquid bulk is piled to 23,4 million tons (- 2.9%), of which 21,9 million tons of hydrocarbons (- 1.8%) and 1,5 million tons of other liquid bulk (- 15.9%). The solid bulk is diminished of -9,8% to the 6,6 million one tons.

In the segment of the goods several the traffic has been of 9,2 million tons (+1.1%), of which 6,0 million tons of goods in container (+0.7%) with a handling of containers pairs to 623.137 teu (+0.2%), 2,0 million tons of rotabili (+6.7%) and beyond 1,1 million conventional tons of goods (- 6.0%).

In the field of the passengers the traffic has remained almost stable to 962 thousand people (+0.3%), with an increase of +2.3% of the total passengers to 617 thousand unit and a contraction of the -3,4% of the passengers of the ferries to 345 thousand unit.
