In the third trimester of the 2016 traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Marseilles Fos has grown of +2.9% being piled to 21,0 million tons regarding 20,4 million tons in the period July-september last year. the total of the liquid bulk has been of 36,8 million tons (+0.7%), of which 34,3 million tons of hydrocarbons (+1.5%) - with 19,6 million tons of crude oil (+1.1%), 9,1 million refined producing tons of oil (- 5.5%), 4,1 million tons of natural gas which liquified (+30.8%) and 1,5 million tons of gas of liquified oil (- 8.6%) - and 2,5 million tons of other liquid bulk constituted by chemicals and alimentary (- 8.8%), and that of the solid bulk of 9,4 million tons (- 12.5%) - with 6,4 million of tons of producing iron and steel (- 15.1%), 572 thousand tons of agricultural and food- bulk (- to 14.6%) and 2,5 million tons of other solid bulk (- 4.3%) -.

In the first nine months of this year the passengers have been 2,1 million, with an increment of generated +3.9% from the increase of +8.3% of the crocieristi, piled to 1,2 million unit of which 351 thousand like home port (- 3.8%) and 838 thousand in transit (+14.3%), that he has compensated the bending of the -1,3% of the passengers of the ferries come down to 902 thousand unit.
