Stable the traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Rotterdam in the third trimester



In the third trimester of this year the volume of traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Rotterdam has turned out almost stable being piled to 115,5 million tons regarding 115,3 million tons in the period July-september of 2015. The goods in import is diminished of -1,8% coming down to the 80,5 million one tons, while those in export have grown of +5.3% to 35,0 million tons.

The light increment of +0.2% of the traffic total is produced by the increase of +2.2% of the containerized trade, that it is piled to 31,7 million tons and is realized with a handling of containers pairs almost 3,1 million teu (+3.4%), and from the increment of +1.0% of the traffic of the liquid bulk that has been attested 55,5 million to tons, of which 25,9 million tons of oil crude oil (+0.4%), 21,2 million tons of producing oil (+1.3%), 471 thousand tons of natural gas which liquified (- 23.4%) and 8,0 million tons of other cargos liquids (+4.5%).

The total volume of the solid bulk instead is dropped of -3,4% to the 21,0 million one tons, of which 7,9 million tons of minerals and 19.2% scrap (- 7.9%), 7,7 million tons of coal (+24.6%), 2,5 million producing tons of agricultural (-) and 2,9 million tons of other solid bulk (+0.1%). Decreasing they have turned out also the rotabili, that they have totaled 5,7 million tons (- 3.7%), and the goods conventional, stop yourself to 1,6 million tons (- 2.2%).

In the first six months of the 2016 Dutch port it has enlivened 344,7 million tons of goods totally, with a bending of -1,9% regarding the 351,5 million one tons in the first semester last year. The cargos to the disembarkation have been pairs to 240,0 million tons (- 3.0%) and those to the boarding to 104,7 million tons (+0.6%).

In the first half of this year the containerized trade is piled to 94,8 million tons (- 1.2%) with a container handling that has been pairs almost 9,3 million teu (- 0.4%). In the segment of the goods several, the rotabili have totaled 16,8 million tons (+1.1%) and the goods conventional 4,2 million tons (- 2.0%).

Unchanged the total volume of the liquid bulk that has been pairs to 168,6 million tons (- 0.4%), of which 76,2 million tons of oil crude oil (- 1.6%), 67,4 million oil tons of producing (to +0.2%), 1,3 million tons of natural gas which liquified (- 23.9%) and 23,6 million tons of other liquid bulk (+3.6%).

The traffic of the solid bulk is diminished altogether of -7,8% to the 60,3 million one tons, of which 23,3 million tons of minerals and 10.3% scrap (- 8.5%), 20,4 million tons of coal (-), 7,7 million tons of producing agricultural (- 1.5%) and 8,9 million tons of other bulk sand banks (- 4.8%).
