Encounter between the harbour authorities of Ancona and Durrës centralized on safety of the traffics goods and passengers



In recent days a delegation of the Authority of Harbour System of Mare Adriatico Centrale and the Provincial Command of the Guard of Finances of Ancona has made visit to the port of Durrës for an encounter face to share the procedures put into effect for the safety controls on goods and passengers in transit between the ports of Ancona and Durrës and to guarantee a greater efficiency and safety of the operations.

The AdSP of Mare Adriatico Centrale has explained that the encounter has afforded a useful exchange of acquaintances and information on the procedures put into effect from the respective ports with respect to the safety controls on goods and passengers in entrance and escape from the Albanian port of call, and confronts on the used technologies, with the objective to increase the effectiveness of the controls borderers and to contribute firmly also to the fight to the traffic of drugs.

"We have deepened with local authorities - it has specified the general secretary of the AdSP, Matteo Paroli - the modalities with which the safety controls inside of the port of Durrës are faced daily, through it I use of efficient procedures and technologies to the vanguard. On the other hand, the daily engagement of the men of the Provincial Command of the Guard of Finances of Ancona, united with the staff of the Agency of Customs and of the Police of Frontier, it has already allowed to intercept huge quantitative of goods illicit. I am convinced that, also thanks to the activities of support and institutional cooperation between the Harbour Authorities, it will be possible in the near future to return complete and effective the controls still more".

To Durrës the Italian delegation that, as well as from Paroli, was composed by Elena Montironi of the Office Development, promotion and statistics of the AdSP, from the lieutenant colonel Francesco Salvo, commander of the Group of the Customs corps of Ancona, from captain Alessandro Margottini and the adjuvant marshal Alessandro Patti, is received by the general manager of the Harbour Authority of Durrës, Aleksander Lipivani, from the operating director Fatjon Sulaj, in charge of the Arben Xhemali promotion, assistant manager of the forces of Dritan Prifti safety, from the director of Customs of Durrës, Artan Sulejmani, and from the regional director of Immigration and the Police of Frontier, Lindita Nushi.
