The Authority of Harbour System of Mare Tirreno Centrale has announced that in the first eight months of the 2017 main members of traffic enlivened in the ports of Naples and Salerno have shown a meaningful increase regarding the same period of the year precedence. In particular, in the field in the container the increase has been pairs to +11.1% in the port of Naples, with 343.883 teu enlivened in the first eight months of this year against the 309,606 of the correspondent period of 2016, and +13.1% in the port of Salerno, with 287.243 teu totaled in the period January-August of 2017 regarding the 254,048 of the same period last year. The total increase of the traffic enlivened in the two ports managed from the AdSP of Tyrrhenian Headquarters therefore has marked a +12.0%, with a total total of enlivened containers pairs to 631.126 teu.

The agency has specified that the important increase in the field of the enlivened traffic ro-ro in the port of Salerno is confirmed also, with an increase of +30.9% in the first eight months of 2017, pairs to 167.881 units enlivened against the 128,277 of the same period of 2016.
