To July the port of Genoa has marked the fifth consecutive month record of traffic of the container



Last July the port of Genoa has recorded the own new absolute record of traffic salary of the container having enlivened 238,825 teu, with an increment of +20.3% regarding July 2016 and with an increase of +2.1% compared to the previous obtained record of 233.995 teu in May of this year. To signal that very five of the first seven months of 2017 (March, April, May, june and July) form the top five of the ranking of the containerized trade salary enlivened from the port of the capital of Liguria.

If to July the 2017 which counted containerized trade in terms of container from 20 ' (teu) enlivened has reached an historical peak, the total in terms of weight does not constitute a record as it has turned out pairs at less than 2,2 million tons (+13.6% on July 2016), inferior volume to the first more three consisting volumes than containerized trade realized in a month from the port that are enlivened this year in freedoms of expression, April and May (in this last one are marked the absolute record with beyond 2,3 million tons).

Last July the total traffic of the goods enlivened from the port is piled almost 4,8 million tons, with a progression of +7.6% regarding July 2016. Besides the rise of the traffic of the container it has turned out consisting also the increase of the traffic of goods conventional, that it has totaled 964 thousand tons (+10.8%), and that of the mineral oil traffic, than has attested than more 1,1 million tons (+14.3%). Down, instead, the other liquid bulk that is come down of the -19,5% to 70 thousand tons, of which 48 thousand tons of chemicals (- 12.8%) and 22 thousand tons of oils vegetables and wine (- 30.8%). The traffic of the solid bulk enlivened in the commercial section of the port is diminished also, that it has been pairs to 62 thousand tons (- 53.1%), so as that enlivened in the industrial section, that it has been of 245 thousand tons of iron worker (- 24.0%).

Last July the traffic of the passengers has turned out stable being is of 514 thousand people (- 0.1%), of which 405 thousand of fleeting crocieristi ferries (+2.0%) and 109 thousand (- 7.6%).

In the first seven months of this year the port of Genoa has enlivened a total of 32,1 million tons of goods, with a progression of +8.0% on the January-July period of 2016. The goods several is piled to 20,7 million tons (+12.4%), of which 15,1 million containerized tons of goods (+14.7%) pairs to 1.522.389 teu (+14.3% realized with a handling of containers) and 5,6 million conventional tons of goods (+6.5%). In the segment of the liquid bulk the mineral oils have been pairs to 8,4 million tons (+4.1%) and other cargos to 418 thousand tons (- 8.9%), of which 301 thousand chemicals tons of (- 0.5%) and 116 thousand tons of oils vegetables and wine (- 25.4%). The solid bulk in the commercial field has been pairs to 330 thousand tons (- 25.8%) and in the industrial field to 1,7 million tons (- 4.1%), of which 1,7 million tons of iron worker (- 1.2%) and 12 thousand tons of other solid bulk (- 81.3%).

In the first seven months of the 2017 passengers they have been more than 1,4 million (- 4.0%), of which 980 thousand in the segment of the ferries (- 0.6%) and 473 thousand in that of cruises (- 10.5%).
