In the 2017 port of Venice it has enlivened 25,08 million tons of goods (- 0.5%)



In 2017, thanks to the increase of the enlivened volumes of goods recorded in the second half of the year, the port of Venice has accused only an light decrease of the -0,5% of the total traffic having had concluded the year with a total of 25,08 million tons of cargos regarding 25,22 million tons in the year precedence. Last year the goods in import is piled to 19,66 million tons (- 0.6%) and those to the export to 5,41 million tons (- 0.3%).

The rise of +6.7% of the marked total traffic in the second half of the year of 2017 regarding the same period of 2016 is generated by the increase of +7.4% of the traffic of goods several and by the progression of +16.6% of the solid bulk, while the liquid bulk is diminished of -1,0%.

In entire the 2017 traffic of the several goods it has been attested 9,44 million to tons (+3.8%), of which 5,62 million tons of goods in container (0%) pairs to 606.008 teu (0% totaled with a handling of containers), 1,52 million tons of rotabili (+44.8%) and 2,30 million several tons of other goods (- 5.1%).

Last year the total liquid bulk traffic has been pairs to 8,79 million tons (- 2.4%), of which 7,23 million refined producing tons of oil (- 3.7%), 1,19 million tons of chemicals (- 4.1%), 50 thousand tons of crude oil and 322 thousand tons of other cargos liquids (+23.0%). In the segment of the bulk sand banks the total has been of 6,84 million tons (- 3.8%), of which 2,12 million tons of coal and lignite (- 17.9%), 1,76 million tons of producing to metalworkers (+8.6%), 1,57 million tons of feeds, feeds and oily seeds (- 6.0%), 727 thousand tons of cereals (+7.9%), 314 thousand tons of minerals and materials from construction (+38.7%), 82 thousand tons of chemicals (to +4.1%) and 280 thousand tons of other solid bulk (+3.0%).

In the 2017 crocieristico traffic in the port of Venice it has been of 1,45 million passengers, with a decrease of the -11,0% on the year precedence, to which they join 204 thousand fleeting (+34.4%) of ferries (+79.0%) and local lines (+6.6%).

In the solo last trimester of the 2017 harbour port of call has enlivened altogether 6,83 million tons of goods, with an increment of +8.8% on the fourth trimester of the year precedence. The goods several has grown of +9.9% to 2,39 million tons, of which 1,42 million containerized tons of goods (+4.9%), 404 thousand tons of rotabili (+45.8%) and 569 thousand several tons of other goods (+4.0%). The liquid bulk has remained stable to 2,14 million tons (- 0.1%), while the solid bulk is increased of +17.3% going up 2,30 million to tons.
