Agreement Region Campania - Fincantieri in order to safeguard and to increase the occupation and the development of the ship yard of Castellammare



The Region Campania and Fincantieri has signed today a protocol of collaboration for the start of a distance of participation finalized to the realization of the conditions of maintenance of the occupational levels and increment of the workload of the ship yard of Castellammare di Stabia, let alone to economic, productive, social and occupational the development of the area, in conditions of environmental sustainability.

The objectives of the fundamental lines of participation characterized by the agreement, that Vincenzo De Luca has been undersigned from the president of the regional agency and from the managing director of the navalmeccanico group Giuseppe Bono, aim at giving a strong impulse to the valorization of the industrial excellence and of search already you anticipate on the territory and to attract new investments, national and foreign countries. E region company will in close collaboration operate in the matters of mutual interest to the aim to favor the resumption and the development of the territory, the safeguard and the valorization of the occupation.

In particular, Fincantieri will attribute to the yard of Castellammare di Stabia the store clerks of two tronconi of cruise ships, and however a workload for the yard of Stabia guaranteed at least until all 2020. It will collaborate, moreover, to the takeover of a formative center of excellence on the model of "Fincantieri usable Academy", as well as for the formation of high level of the Fincantieri staff, also eventually for that of industrial companies having center in Region, with focus to the economy of the sea. The Region will assure every form of collaboration at last, also with the national government, finalized to guarantee the best conditions than continuity and development of the industrial areas, comprised relative infrastructures there, and of the activities of the yard of Castellammare di Stabia.
