The AdSP of the Central Adriatic has acquired the area of the Marotti port of call in order to assign it to the pause of the Tir



Yesterday the Authority of Harbour System of Mare Adriatico Centrale has formalized the purchase of the area of the Marotti port of call from Italian Railway Net (RFI), area of 31 thousand square metres in the port of Ancona on which already the heavy means are moved experimentally that before paused to the pier Raise waiting for to complete the customs operations.

Explaining that draft of a choice of logistic rationalization, started to beginning june, that has the scope to move away the commercial traffics from the historical zone of the port, the president of the AdSP has emphasized that such rationalization represented one of the main objectives of the agency: "to move the Tir - it has specified Rodolfo Giampieri - in an distant zone from the center of the port, plus neighbor to it embarks, with an incidence smaller of the traffic in harbour area introducing also concepts of strong technological innovation. A decision - it has added - that the means year will afford also a saving estimated in about 60 thousand kilometers heavy covered inside of the port of call, with obvious repercussions also from an environmental point of view. An opportunity that continues, with coherence, in the progressive liberation of the pier I raise affording, without to create problems to the companies and the entrepreneurs, a riappropriazione of this zone by the community. The pier I raise represents a peninsula on the sea to rethink and where to be able to accommodate events, initiatives and spaces for the acceptance developing new economy and new occupation". Giampieri has evidenced that to this great result "they have participated, from protagonists, Agency of Customs, Customs corps, shippers, Harbour office, collaborating, everyone for its competences, to the attainment of this important objective".

The action undersigned yesterday comprises also the purchase of the two mansions that insist in the former port of call, already center of the school of RFI formation, for a surface total of about 800metri squares, that they will be destined to necessary the customs activities to the boarding and the disembarkation from the ferry boats completed from Customs, Customs corps and shippers. The total amount of the purchase is of 1.025.000 euros, value verified and regularly certifyd from the Agency of the Federal property of Rome.
