Last month the marine transport of goods through the Suez Canal has grown of +8.4%



It continues supported the increase of the volumes of goods transported by the ships that cross the Suez Canal, via of water that last month is crossed by 1.501 ships for a net tonnage pairs to 93,9 million tons SCNT, with increments respective of +3.0% and of +6.9% on the september 2017, of which 394 oil tankers (+2.9%) for 18,4 million tons SCNT (+15.6%) and 1,107 ships of other type (+3.1%) for 75,6 million tons SCNT (+4.9%).

To september 2018 the new record for this month as for total of boarded cargos on the ships is recorded that have crossed the channel, new peak that is such also with reference is to the single transits towards south is to the single transits towards north. Altogether last month the last ships for Suez transported 82,7 million tons of goods (+8.4%), of which 43,4 million tons on the ships journeyed from north to south (+11.4%) and 39,3 million tons on the ships journeyed in opposite direction (+5.3%).

Altogether last month the cargos constituted from oil and producing oil boarded on the ships were pairs to 21,2 million tons (+14.5%), of which 10,5 million tons on the ships directed to south (+36.9%) and 10,7 million tons on those directing to north (- 1.4%). The cargos of other type piled to a total of 61,6 million tons (+6.5%) included 39,2 million containerized tons of goods (+1.1%), of which 33,0 million tons on the ships directed to south (+5.1%) included 18,2 million tons of goods in container (+0.5%) and 28,6 million tons on the ships directed to north (+8.1%) included 20,9 million containerized tons of goods (+1.6%).

In the first nine months of the 2018 channel Egyptian it is crossed totally by 13.452 ships for 843,9 million tons SCNT, with increases of +4.0% and +10.3% on the period January-september last year. The oil tankers were 3,454 (+4.5%) for 151,6 million tons SCNT (+11.3%) and the ships of other type 9,998 (+3.8%) for 692,3 million tons SCNT (+10.1%).

The ships journeyed in the channel in the first nine months of this year transported 726,7 million tons of goods (+8.8%), of which 380,0 million tons on the units directed to south (+9.1%) and 346,6 million tons on those directing to north (+8.5%). The single cargos constituted from oil and producing oil boarded on the ships journeyed in both the directions were pairs to 172,9 million tons (+9.4%) and cargos of other type 553,7 million tons (+8.6%) included 367,0 million tons of goods in container (+4.5%). On the sun ships directed to south the oil cargos piled to 77,7 million tons (+4.2%) and those of other type to 302,3 million tons (+10.4%) included 182,0 million tons of cargos in container (+4.5%), while on the sun ships directed to north the oil cargos were pairs to 95,2 million tons (+14.0%) and the goods of other type to 251,4 million tons (+6.5%) included 185,0 million tons in container (+4.4%).
