In the third trimester the port of Rotterdam has enlivened 3,7 million container (+4.7%)



After four consecutive trimesters of light decrease, in the third trimester of this year the traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Rotterdam is returned to grow recording an increment of +3.2% on the same period of 2017. In total they are enlivened 117,2 million tons of cargos regarding 113,5 million in the period July-september last year, of which 80,4 million tons to disembarkation (+2.7%) and 36,7 million tons to boarding (+4.4%).

Altogether in the segment of the container the traffic is piled to 37,4 million tons (+3.0%) and is realized a handling of containers pairs to 3,7 million teu (+4.7%), of which 19,2 million tons to disembarkation (+5.3%) for 1,9 million teu (+6.1%) and 18,2 million tons to boarding (+0.6%) in order almost 1,8 million teu (+3.1%).

In light increase they have turned out also the other goods several with a total of 7,8 million tons (+0.8%), of which 6,1 million tons of rotabili (- 0.8%) and 1,6 million conventional tons of goods (+7.7%).

In the field of the liquid bulk the traffic is gone up totally of +5.4% to 52,4 million tons, of which 24,4 million tons of crude oil (+1.6%), 18,5 million tons of producing to refined oils (+6.3%), 1,8 million tons of natural gas which liquified (+331.6%) and 7,7 million tons of other cargos liquids (- 2.3%). Decreasing, instead, the solid bulk that has attested 19,6 million to tons (- 0.8%), with 8,0 million tons of minerals and scrap (+3.0%), 6,6 million tons of coal (+12.7%), 2,0 million tons of agricultural bulk (- 37.1%) and 3,0 million tons of other solid bulk (+1.7%).

In the first nine months of the 2018 Dutch port it has enlivened altogether 350,0 million tons of goods, with a bending of the -0,4% on the period January-september last year, of which 241,1 million tons to the disembarkation (- 1.4%) and 109,0 million to boarding (+1.9%). The total of the containerized trade has been of 111,1 million tons (+4.9%) with a container handling that has turned out pairs to 10,8 million teu (+5.7%). The other goods several is dropped of -0,4% to the 22,9 million one tons, of which 18,1 million tons of cargos ro-ro (+1.3%) and 4,7 million conventional tons of goods (- 6.5%). The volume of traffic of the liquid bulk is come down of -1,3% to the 159,4 million one tons, of which 75,1 million tons of crude oil (- 4.8%), 58,8 million tons of producing oil refined (- 1.5%), 3,7 million tons of natural gas which liquified (+189.9%) and 21,7 million tons of other liquid bulk (+0.4%). The solid bulk has totaled 56,7 million tons (- 7.3%), with 22,1 million tons of minerals and scrap (- 5.8%), 19,0 million tons of coal (- 4.6%), 7,2 million tons of agricultural bulk (- 17.9%) and 8,4 million tons of other bulk sand banks (- 7.0%).
