In the third trimester the traffic of the goods in the port of Palermo is diminished of -7,5%



In the third trimester of this year the port of Palermo has enlivened almost 1,5 million tons, with a bending of the -7,5% regarding 1,6 million tons in the period July-september of 2017. The goods several has totaled than 1,4 million tons (- 8.2%), of which 1,3 million tons of rotabili (- 9.1%) and 45 thousand less containerized tons of goods (+26.4%). The liquid bulk is piled to 117 thousand tons (+15.4%) and those solid to 5 thousand tons (- 73.8%). In the field of the passengers the traffic has been of 866 thousand people (+5.2%), of which 147 thousand crocieristi (+5.9%), 649 thousand of fleeting ferries (+5.5%) and 70 thousand fleeting of local services (+1.9%).

In the third trimester of the 2018 near harbour port of call of Termini Imerese it has enlivened 328 thousand tons of goods (+48.2%), of which 288 thousand tons of rotabili (+61.2%) and 41 thousand tons of bulk sand banks (- 5.6%). The passengers have been 31 thousand (- 36.4%).

In the first nine months of this year the port of Palermo has enlivened 4,6 million tons of goods, with a decrease of the -3,1% on the correspondent period of 2017, of which 3,0 million tons of cargos to disembarkation (- 4.2%) and 1,6 million tons of cargos to the boarding (- 1.2%). The several goods is diminished altogether of -3,7% attesting itself to the 4,3 million one tons, of which 4,1 million tons of rotabili (- 4.6%) with enlivened heavy average 191 thousand (- 2.9%) and 153 thousand tons of goods in container (+27.5%) pairs to 12 thousand teu (+21.2% realized with a handling of containers). The traffic of new cars of factory has been of 36 thousand vehicles (- 21.5%). In the field of the liquid bulk producing are enlivened 297 thousand tons of oil refined (+5.8%) and in that of the solid bulk the total has been of 31 thousand tons (+0.1%), of which 16 thousand tons of cereals (- 29.8%) and 15 thousand tons of other cargos (+83.5%). In the section of the passengers the traffic has been than more 1,6 million people (+11.4%), of which 435 thousand crocieristi (+31.5%) included 58 thousand to the disembarkation/boarding (+7.4%) and 376 thousand (+36.3%), in transit 1,1 million passengers of ferries (+6.3%) with a total of 372 thousand car to the continuation of passengers (+8.3%) and 103 thousand fleeting of local marine services (- 1.7%).

In the first nine months of the 2018 port of Termini Imerese it has enlivened 947 thousand tons of goods (+122.4%), of which 798 thousand tons of rotabili (+146.3%) units (+187.7%) and 149 thousand totaled with a heavy means traffic of 25 thousand tons of solid bulk (+46.1%), of which 51 thousand tons of cereals (+84.1%) and 97 thousand tons of other cargos (+31.7%). The traffic of new cars has been of 8 thousand unit (+56.7%). In the segment of the passengers the ferries landed to Termini Imerese have enlivened 46 thousand people (- 28.6%) with 20 thousand car to the continuation (- 24.8%).
