To new October historical record salary of the cargo on the ships that have crossed the Suez Canal



Last month the volume total of the goods on board of the ships that are journeyed in the Suez Canal has reached the new historical record of 89,1 million tons, with an increment of +11.4% on October 2017 and with a differential of about 2,7 million tons compared to the previous peak maximum established salary last August. The new record is established thanks to the new historical maximum peak of boarded cargos on the ships journeyed in the channel Egyptian in the direction north-south that are piled to 49,6 million tons (+16.6% on October 2017) and graces also to the increase of +5.5% of the boarded cargo volumes on the ships journeyed in the opposite direction that they have totaled 39,5 million tons (+5.5%), figure that relatively constitutes the new record to the month of October for this director of marine traffic.

In the January-October period of the 2018 total of the goods on board of the ships that have crossed the channel it has turned out of 815,8 million tons (+9.1%), of which 429,6 million tons on the ships directed to south (+9.9%) and 386,23 million tons on those directing to north (+8.2%). On the sun ships directed to south the cargos originated from the markets of the northern Mediterranean are piled to 52,7 million tons, with a decrease of the -21,6% on the first six months of 2017, while on the sun ships directed to north the cargos directed to the markets of the northern Mediterranean have been pairs to 84,2 million tons, in increase of +7.1%.

In the first ten months of this year more consisting the volume than cargos on board of the ships the containerized directions journeyed in both total have been that of the goods with 409,2 million tons (+4.9%), of which 203,7 million tons on the ships directed to south (+4.5%) and 205,5 million tons on those directing to north (+4.9%). To follow there are the cargos constituted from crude oil for a total of 96,2 million tons (+4.7%), of which 36,8 million tons on the ships directed to south (+31.2%) and 59,4 million tons on those directing to north (- 0.7%), the cargos of total cereals for 43,7 million tons (+18.4%), of which 42,9 million tons directed towards Mediterranean (+10.5%) and 783 thousand tons towards Red Sea (+102.3%), the mineral cargos and metals for 28,1 million tons (+3.2%), of which 25,6 million tons on the ships directed to south (+5.8%) and 2,5 million tons on the ships directed to north (+133.1%) and cargos of coal and coke for a total of 27,4 million tons (+80.7%), of which 17,7 million tons on the ships journeyed towards south (+126.5%) and 9,7 million tons on those journeyed towards north (+33.1%).
