The port of Marseilles has archived item the third trimester with a decrease of the -1,4% of the goods



In the third trimester of this year the traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Marseilles is diminished of the -1,4% being piled to 19,8 million tons regarding 20,1 million tons in the period July-september of 2017. The goods to the disembarkation pairs to 14,4 million tons (- 1.8%) and those to the boarding to 5,4 million tons (- 0.1% have been).

Altogether in the segment of the goods several the traffic has been of 4,9 million tons (- 2.9%), of which 3,2 million tons of containerized cargos (- 5.4%) realized with a handling of containers pairs to 346 thousand teu (- 3.2%), 1,2 million tons of cargos ro-ro (+3.5%) and 567 thousand tons of goods of other type (- 0.9%).

Down also the solid bulk, traffic that has been attested 3,4 million to tons (- 8.4%), of which 2,0 million tons of minerals and materials from construction (- 13.9%), 795 thousand tons of coal and coke (- 9.8%), 119 thousand tons of cereals (- 20.7%), 107 thousand tons of producing metalworkers (+69.2%), 37 thousand tons of chemicals (to +36.7%) and 330 thousand tons of other bulk sand banks (+29.5%).

In the section of the liquid bulk the traffic is increased of +1.6% to 11,4 million tons thanks to the increment of +1.3% of the oil produced ones refined (3,2 million to tons) and of +28.2% of the natural gas and the gas of oil (1,9 million tons) that tons have more than compensated the bending of the -3,3% of the crude oil (5,5 million), of the -8,3% of chemicals (830 thousand the tons) and of the -12,8% of other cargos liquids (17 thousand tons).

In the third trimester of the 2018 traffic of the passengers in the French port it has been of 1,1 million people (+10.1%), of which 475 thousand crocieristi (+16.5%) and 660 thousand fleeting of ferries (+5.9%).

In the first nine months of this year the total of the goods enlivened from the harbour port of call has been of 60,4 million tons, with a progression of +1.0% on the period January-september of 2017, of which 42,8 million tons of goods to disembarkation (- 2.7%) and 17,6 million tons to boarding (+11.0%). The total volume of the goods several has been of 15,3 million tons (- 0.2%), with almost 10,0 million tons of cargos in container (- 0.1%) totaled with a handling of containers pairs to 1,04 million teu (+1.4%), 3,4 million tons of rotabili (+3.1%) and 1,9 million tons of other cargos (- 5.8%). The solid bulk is piled to 11,8 million tons (+12.2%), of which 8,1 million tons of minerals and materials from construction (+20.6%), 2,1 million tons of coal and coke (- 11.4%), 322 thousand tons of cereals (+33.2%), 273 thousand tons of producing metalworkers (+50.6%), 92 thousand chemicals tons of (- 7.3%) and 897 thousand tons of other solid bulk (+1.7%). The liquid bulk is diminished of -2,0% to the 33,3 million one tons, of which 16,3 million tons of crude oil (+0.2%), 8,8 million producing tons of oil refined (- 11.5%), 5,6 million tons of natural gas and oil (+7.3%), 2,6 gases of oil of chemicals (to +2.2%) and 59 thousand tons of other liquid bulk (- 11.5%).

In the first nine months of the 2018 passengers they have been 2,3 million (+13.1%), of which 1,2 million crocieristi (+19.3%) and 1,1 million passengers of regular lines (+7.0%).
