Fincantieri will participate to the construction of a bridge suspended in Rumania



Fincantieri has announced that through its controlled Fincantieri Infrastructure it will participate to the construction in Rumania of a suspended bridge that once completed, with a total length of 1.975 meters and a central span of 1.120 meters, will be longest of the Country and third party with longer the central span in Europe. To the start of the work, in June 2019, will be the bridge suspended larger to the world currently about to realization.

Based on the order Fincantieri Infrastructure it will supply the metallic bridge floor of the bridge to joint venture formed from Astaldi Spa and IHI Infrastructure Systems Co., awardee of the contract by the Compania Nationala de Administrare to Infrastructurii Rutiere (C.N.A.I.R.), that it will cure the planning and the installation. The work will last about 24 months.

The bridge will rise on the Danube to single eight kilometers of distance from the citizen of Braila, in Rumania, where the plant of Vard has center, society of the Fincantieri group.
