Centro Studi di Fedespedi, the federation of the Italian shipment houses, has diffused today the third edition anniversary of own relationship "the terminals container in Italy: an analysis economic-financial institution" that it has the scope to analyze to the performances economic-financial institutions of the societies of management of the main harbour terminals for Italian containers.

The analysis has examined eleven container terminal in the ports of Ancona (Adriatic Container Terminal - ACT), La Spezia (La Spezia Container Terminal - LSCT), Gioia Tauro (Medcenter Container Terminal - MCT), Cagliari (Cagliari International Container Terminal - CICT), Salerno (Salerno Container Terminal - SCT), Ravenna (Terminal Ravenna Container - TCR), Genoa (Southern European Container Hub - SECH and Voltri Europe Terminal - VTE), Livorno (Terminal Tuscany Dock - TDT), Trieste (Trieste Marine Terminal - TMT) and Venice (Venice Container Terminal – VCT).

Last year these eleven terminal have enlivened altogether a containerized trade pairs to 7,893 million teu - 74.4% of the Italian total (10,606 million teu) - on a surface total of 4,987 million square metres and making use of 88 cranes from dock. The precise relationship that regarding 2017, last year these enlivened terminals have recorded a total bending of the -3,3% in terms of teu consequent to the crisis of the port of Cagliari and to the decrease in the ports of Gioia Tauro, Ancona, Livorno, Ravenna and Genoa. Bonds, instead, the results of Trieste, Salerno and Venice.

In the 2018 11 society that manages the terminals they have totaled a turnover of 643,0 million euros (+2.8% on the year precedence. The variation of the turnover does not hold account of that of SCT given the outage of budget 2018), with added value - specific the relationship - of 354 million euros and a final result of 81 million euros, pairs to 12.6% of the turnover, online with realized how much in 2017 (12.9%). Regarding 2017, year in which only terminal SECH of the port of Genoa it introduced a result negative, in the 2018 they are the three terminals that have closed the budget in red: besides the same SECH, than confirmation its negative performances, MCT of Gioia Tauro and CICT of Cagliari whose turned out - the analysis of Centro Studi di Fedespedi observes - they are dragged downward by the drastic reorganization of the traffics.
