To Rome the assembly of the European has held Maritime Networks of Clusters



Yesterday and today to Rome, in the within of the celebrations of its venticinquennale, the Federation of the Sea has organized, in the center of Palace Column where it is accommodated by Confitarma, general the meeting of the European Maritime Networks of Clusters (ENMC), the organization that reunites the European marine clusters. Last night the Federation of the Sea has offered a dinner to the members of the ENMC to which they have participated, besides the Dutch Arjen Uytendaal, president of ENMC, and to the coordinator Marjolein van Noort, the summits of the marine clusters of Bulgaria, France, Finland, Germany, Luxemburg, Malta, Portugal, Spain, and naturally Italy, represented by Mario Mattioli, president of the Federation of the Sea, accompanied from vice-president Vincenzo Petrone, president of Assonave and vice president of ENMC, Pierluigi Portalupi, delegated ANIA, let alone Carlo Lombardi and Laurence Martin, respective general secretary and vice-secretary of the Federation of the Sea.

Today, in the course of the work of general the meeting, president Arjen Uytendaal with the colleagues has faced the requirement for ENMC to cooperate with the European marine organizations of field in order better to share the requirements of the marine industry in its complex and to discuss about the common objectives in sight of which to adopt initiatives, being emphasized the necessity to delineate a marine language common and to coordinate the contacts with the European institutions.

Successively, after an introduction of Fabio Faraone, Technical foreman naval safety and atmosphere of Confitarma, on the topic of the decarbonizzazione of the marine industry, the representatives of the European marine clusters have discussed about the next ones negotiate of the EU for a Green Deal who sure will have an impact on the marine field: it will be important in purpose to introduce proposed that the interests of the several members of the Economy Blue hold account of all. Moreover she is remembered that also the bank financings come by now granted on the base of the sustainability of the projects and in so far as the European Investment Bank has been expressed also BEAUTIFUL (). This wants to say that if the marine field wants to maintain the access to the financings must be able to demonstrate what is making in order to reduce the emissions. Some adopted initiatives are introduced also on a national level in order to reduce the emissions.

Other topic in argument has been that of the importance to set up a consolidated entirety of statistical data that returns the strategic importance more obvious that the marine cluster covers for the economy of the EU, above all in this historical moment characterized on one side from measures in order to face the climatic change and, from the other, from the pressure of protectionism and the commercial wars, let alone from the requirement of digitalisation that demands strong investments. In particular, in the course of the reunion the requirement is emerged to identify in more precise way which are the fields that would have to be labeled as "marine", to the aim of being able to insert in the appraisal of the Economy Blue also those most innovative ones, with their potential one in places of work, innovation and turnover. To such fine, within February 2020 ENMC together with the others stakeholder interested to cooperate, will introduce a project in order to realize a solid base given.
