The costs are increased of +10.1% attesting to 4,30 billion dollars, increment produced above all from the progression of +214.4% - also it yields of the adoption of new accounting principles - of the burdens of the activities on board of the ships that have been pairs to 578 million dollars. The operating profit has totaled 484 million dollars (- 12.3%) and the profit clearly 423 million dollars (- 14.4%).

In the period september-November of this year the ships of the fleets of the group, that they are operated with the marks AIDA Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Costa Crociere, Cunard, Holland America Line, P&O Cruises (Australia), P&O Cruises (UK), Princess Cruises and Seabourn, has accommodated 3,08 million passengers (+2.1%).

In the entire fiscal year the 2019 revenues of the group have been attested to 20,82 billion dollars, with an increase of +10.3% on the exercise precedence, the operating profit has been pairs to 3,27 billion dollars (- the 1.5%) and profit clearly to 2,99 billion dollars (- 5.2%). In the year the ships have accommodated 12,87 million passengers (+3.7%).

Carnival has announced that today the reservations for the cruises of the group in program in the 2020 turn out light advanced to those of 2019, while the prices of the cruises of the next year turn out inferior light.

Today while, with the first port of call to Savona, it has entered officially in Costa Smeralda service, the new flagship of Costa Crociere who is fed to which liquified natural gas is in port is in navigation with the scope to improve the quality of the air and protect the atmosphere almost, eliminating totally the sulfur oxide emissions (zero emissions) and particulate matter (reduction of the 95-100%), and meaningfully reducing also the oxide emissions of nitrogen (direct reduction of 85%) and of co2 (reduction until 20%).
