To April the traffic of the container enlivened from the Chinese marine ports is diminished of -5,1%



Last month the Chinese ports have enlivened 1,19 billion tons of goods, with a progression of +4.1% on the April 2019, of which 353,6 million tons of commercial exchanges with foreign country (+2.4%). The single marine ports have enlivened 764,7 million tons (+1.6%), of which 316,6 million tons with foreign country (+2.9%), while the inland port they have enlivened 428,1 million tons (+9.0%), of which 36,9 million tons with foreign country (- 1.4%).

Relatively to the data of the traffic of the goods enlivened from the Chinese internal ports, the Ministry of Transportation of Beijing has updated the relative data to the traffic enlivened from the inland port of the Province of Hubei that has been epicenter of the pandemic of diffuse Covid-19 all over the world: If last month the total has been of 25,8 million tons, with an increment of +3.7% on the April 2019, of which 8,4 million tons enlivened from the single internal ports of Wuhan, city main breeding ground of the contagion, where an increase of +18.7% is recorded, and if to March 2020 – as already announced - the internal ports of the Province had recorded a decrease of the -13,2% of the traffic regarding March 2019, with an amazing increase of +38.2% to Wuhan, the data of January and February of this year – previously communicated and now been profitable you do not notice from the Ministry ofthe Transports – they indicate that to February 2020 in the Province of Hubei tons of goods are enlivened 11,8 million, with a decrease of the -16,2% on the February 2019, of which 5,7 million tons in the single Wuhan, with an emphasized rise of +34.7%, while to January 2020 the traffic in the Province had marked equally an amazing increase of piled +17.6% being to 23,4 million tons, of which 8,9 million tons enlivened to Wuhan (+84.5%).

To April 2020 the main Chinese marine ports for volume of enlivened traffic have been Ningbo-Zhoushan with 95,6 million tons (+3.0%), Guangzhou with 53,5 million tons (+3.3%), Shanghai with 52,7 million tons (- 6.7%), Tangshan with 51,8 million tons (+1.3%), Qingdao with 47,8 million tons (+3.5%), Tianjin with 42,2 million tons (- 1.5%), Rizhao with 40,8 million tons (+10.8%) and Yantai with 32,6 million tons (- 0.2%).

Relatively to single enlivened containerized trade in April 2020, the national total has been of 20,7 million teu (- 5.8%), of which 18,2 million teu enlivened from the marine ports (- 5.1%) and 2,4 million teu from internal ports (- 10.7%). The main ports for volume of traffic of the container have been Shanghai with 3,5 million teu (- 2.9%), Ningbo-Zhoushan with 2,1 million teu (- 4.9%), Guangzhou with 2,0 million teu (+5.3%), Shenzhen with 1,7 million teu (- 17.8%), Qingdao with 1,7 million teu (- 4.5%), Tianjin with 1,5 million teu (+4.1%) and Xiamen with 850 thousand teu (- 13.3%).

In the first quadrimestre of this year the total traffic of the goods enlivened from the Chinese ports has been pairs to 4,20 billion tons, with a reduction of the -2,3% on the first four months of 2019, of which 1,39 billion tons of commerce with foreign country (+0.9%). The single marine ports have enlivened 1,25 billion tons (- 2.5%), of which 1,25 billion tons of exchanges with foreign country (+1.2%), and inland port 1,36 billion the tons (- 1.9%), of which 144,2 million tons of foreign trade (- 1.8%).

The most important volumes than traffic are enlivened by the ports of Ningbo-Zhoushan (346,1 million tons, -0,6%), Tangshan (193,4 million tons, -9,2%), Qingdao (191,6 million tons, +4.0%), Shanghai (191,6 million tons, -12,9%), Guangzhou (188,9 million tons, -2,5%), Rizhao (159,7 million tons, +6.1%), Tianjin (153,3 million tons, +3.4%), Yantai (124,8 million tons, -1,5%) and Dalian (109,3 million tons, +0.4%).

The single containerized trade enlivened in the first four months of 2020 has been pairs to 75,8 million teu (- 7.8%), of which 67,6 million teu enlivened from the marine ports (- 7.4%) and 8,2 million teu from internal ports (- 10.7%). More consisting the volumes than containerized cargos are enlivened by the port of Shanghai with 12,8 million teu (- 8.5%) followed from the ports of Ningbo-Zhoushan with 8,3 million teu (- 7.4%), Shenzhen with 7,0 million teu (- 13.4%), Qingdao with 6,7 million teu (+0.4%), Guangzhou with 6,7 million teu (- 6.3%), Tianjin with 5,2 million teu (- 0.3%), Xiamen with 3,4 million teu (- 8.3%) and Dalian with 2,0 million teu (- 29.4%).
