MSC Cruises is extended the period of temporary suspension of the cruises until on 31 July



MSC Cruises has announced that July will still be extended until next the 31 the period of temporary suspension of the cruises caused from the important restrictions of travel in vigor in many world-wide areas for the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile the company has communicated to have confirmed the complete program for the summery season 2021 that it will begin to March of the next year and will currently under construction see the presence of the two new ships, Vituous MSC and MSC Seashore, for a composed fleet altogether from 19 ships, placed side by side from a series of new routes and home port.

"Even if today we have taken the difficult decision to ulteriorly be extended the suspension of the activities of all our ships - the managing director of MSC Cruises has explained, Gianni Onorato - is important to look ahead, because we know that our customers dream to travel and wish to plan own vacations for the next year. For this reason we have confirmed our complete program for summer 2021. Our ships will only return in service when we consider it opportune, for phases and area, following the indications of the national and international sanitary authorities, of the other competent authorities and on the base of a new operating protocol on the health and safety, that we will announce shortly. In this way, gradually, all our ships will return to navigate between the effectiveness of the new protocol and the beginning of our summery season 2021".

Relatively to the program of crocieristica season 2021, the company will employ in the western Mediterranean the three ships of the class "Seaside" - MSC Seaside, MSC Seaview and MSC Seashore - with departures from the Italian ports. MSC Seashore will enter in service from on August 1°, 2021, with a light delay regarding how much initially previewed to cause from the temporary closing of the ship yard for the Covid-19 pandemic. Until that given it will be MSC Fantasy to temporary replace it in its route that will leave from Genoa, Naples or Messina in order to head to the TV assistant (Malta), Barcelona (Spain) and Marseilles (France). MSC Seashore will be placed side by side by twin ships MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview in the port of Genoa. Moreover beginning from August 2021 MSC will return in Tunisia with MSC Fantasy that will carry out cruises of seven nights from Genoa with ports of call to Marseilles, Barcelona, the port of the Goulette to Tunisi, Palermo and Civitavecchia. At the end of the summer cruises will leave from Genoa towards Morocco, the Canarian Islands, Madeira and Portugal or, in alternative, towards Greece and Israel, with MSC Poetry.

For the Mediterranean oriental the programming for the new season previews that for the Lyric summer 2021 MSC will be operating from Venice and will make stage also in the port of Trieste with a route that will call at Zara, Dubrovnik and Spalato (Croatia), Kotor (Montenegro) and Corfù (Greece). Moreover MSC Music, MSC Orchestra, MSC Opera and MSC Symphony will offer routes from Venice to the discovery of the Greek islands, the Montenegro and Croatia.

Relatively to the Europe North, from 8 May Vituous new MSC will pass its first summery season with cruises in departure from Kiel (Germany) and Copenhagen (Denmark), alternating the routes towards fjords and the vital Baltic. In the area Splendid MSC will be employed also that will offer of the cruises that they will be pushed also until Head Nord. MSC Magnifica will move to Southampton, United Kingdom, and will offer routes towards the fjords of Norway, the vital Baltic or the Mediterranean to half August, towards the Canarian Islands and a cruise in order to touch "Pearls of the North" of Amburgo, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge and the Havre. Precious MSC will offer routes from Amburgo with destinations in Ireland, Iceland and Capo Nord and Spitzbergen in Norway.

At last, for the Caribbean area the programming for 2021 previews that MSC Wonder will offer cruises from Miami, while MSC Harmony will offer to new cruises more breviums always from Miami in order to head towards Ocean Cay, exclusive marine reserve of Bahamas badged MSC. For the first time MSC Divina will sail from Port Canaveral (Healthy), new port of departure for MSC Cruises. Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve will remain the culminating point of the cruises to the Caribbean, with all and the three ships that will call on the private island of Bahamas.
