From 15 January, the Suez Canal Authority will apply a +15% increase in transit rights in the canal Egyptian for most types of vessels: oil tankers, Product tankers, liquefied petroleum gas and gas vessels liquefied natural gas, chemical tankers and other tankers, Container ships, car carriers, cruise ships and special floating Units. It will also apply a +5% increase in transit charges charged to bulk carriers, general cargo, ro-ro ships and other types of vessels Naval.
