The Augusta Due shipping company of the Mednav group, which headed by the Brello family, has returned to the new shipbuilding having taken delivery of a new tanker used for the transport of petrochemical products just completed by the Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding Co. of Fujian. The negotiation for the acquisition of the new unit, such as the built last December for an eight-year-old tanker, it was was finalized with the assistance of Studio Dardani of Genoa.

The new tanker, which has been christened Primo M and flies the Italian flag, complies with the most advanced requirements and will be able to operate in ECA areas (Northern Europe, USA and from May 2025 also Mediterraneo). The dual fuel tanker Methanol Ready, which has a capacity of 18,500 tons of deadweight capacity, is also equipped with a system for receiving electricity from the ground, thus being able to carry out the operations commercial in ports with engines and generators turned off.

The Italian shipping group, specialized in the transport of petrochemicals and bulk liquids, operates a fleet of 19 ships.
