Today, the European Commission presented the Pact for Clean Industry whose goal is to accelerate the decarbonisation while ensuring competitiveness of European industry. The Clean Industrial Deal has been welcomed by the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) in What - explained the association - European ports support the Commission's intention to step up its efforts to simplifying authorisation procedures in Europe, the will to consider a more pragmatic approach to the definition of low-carbon hydrogen, the proposal to identify and focus on industrial clusters, related initiatives circular economy and plans to lower prices of energy. European ports - ESPO also specified - also support the Commission's awareness that it is need to strengthen demand to define business cases for decarbonized products. The ports - ESPO clarified again - share the view that there must be a market to attract success investors.
