
In 2024, the American cruise group Norwegian Cruise Line
Holdings (NCLH) reported record revenue of $9.48 billion
dollars, with an increase of +10.9% on the annual year
historical peak that was reached thanks to
values never previously recorded both of the sale of cruises,
which totaled 6.41 billion (+11.5%), both of on-board sales
of ships, which amounted to 3.06 billion (+9.6%). New records
were also recorded by the operating margin values
gross profit and operating profit of 2.41
billion (+41.8%) and $1.47 billion (+57.5%). The profit
amounted to $910.3 million (+447.8%),
a value that is only lower than the record of 54.8 million
achieved in 2018 and 930.2 million in 2019.
In 2024, a new historical peak was also reached
the number, equal to 2.93 million (+7.7%), of passengers embarked
on the ships of the group's fleet which is operated through the
Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas brands
Cruises.
In the fourth quarter of last year alone, revenues were
equal to 2.11 billion dollars, a value that represents a growth
of +6.2% over the corresponding period of 2023 and the new record for
this period of the year that has been achieved thanks to both the
record for the period of revenues from the sales of
cruises and revenues generated by sales on board ships
Results of $1.41 billion (+5.7%) and $700.6 million
(+7,1%). In the last quarter of 2024, there were record figures
also those of the gross operating margin of 509.6 million
(+69.2%), operating profit of €214.7 million (+72.7%) and
net income of $254.5 million, net income
which in the fourth quarter of 2023 had been negative and equal to
to -106.5 million.
In the last quarter of 2024, passengers carried by the
fleet were 666 thousand (+2.6%), a number that for the period is
lower only than the more than 666 thousand passengers in the fourth quarter
of 2018.
Announcing its annual results today, the NCLH Group made

cruises operated by the group's three brands in 2025 and 2026.
