
In 2024, the Philippine terminal operator group International
Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) reported results
economic and operational record starting with container traffic
handled during the year by its port terminals, which is
result of almost 13.1 million TEUs, with an increase of
+2.5% on 2023 which was generated by the increase in volumes
handled by Asian terminals, amounting to 7.1 million
TEU (+8.2%), while in terminals in the Americas traffic was
fell by -4.3% to 3.5 million TEUs and decreased by -2.5%
also the traffic carried out by the group's terminals in
Europe, Middle East and Africa which was about 2.5
million TEUs.
Last year, ICTSI's revenues reached a record high
of $2.87 billion (+15.6%), of which $2.74 billion generated
port activities (+14.7%). The EBITDA and EBITDA values
of EBIT, amounting to €1.78 billion (+18.2%) and €1.48 billion respectively

as the value of net profit which amounted to 935.8
million dollars (+61.0%).
Even the fourth quarter of 2024 alone was closed
with record quarterly economic and operating results being the
Archived period with an all-time high of 753.0 million
Revenues increased by +16.6% over the same period
of the previous year, of which 726.1 million were generated by the
port (+15.5%). EBITDA, EBIT and net profit also
reached new records with 462.9 million (+16.1%) respectively,
$386.3 million (+18.9%) and $241.1 million (+436.9%).
The same has occurred on the operational front, with a
total container traffic that in the period October-December
in 2024 was a record figure of almost 3.5 million
TEU (+5.0%), a record that was reached thanks to the peak
quarterly history of traffic handled by Asian terminals,
equal to 1.9 million TEUs (+8.6%), while terminals in the Americas
handled 952 thousand TEUs (-0.8%) and those in the EMEA region
626 thousand TEUs (+3.9%).
