Greek shipping group Attica Holdings announced today that it has announced that it has having sold the ro-pax ferry Kriti for $3.6 million II , which was built in 1979 and had been placed in disarmament. The ship was part of the fleet of Anek Lines, shipping company that has joined the group Attica at the end of 2023. The Greek group specified that the sale is for the purpose of demolition of the ferry which will take place in accordance with European and Greek recycling regulations ships and that the Kriti II was delivered to a recycling yard included in the list of these establishments authorized by the European Union.

The Kriti II had a capacity of 1,326 passengers and 1,785 linear meters of rolling stock.
