The Italian associations in the freight transport sector on Ferro, representing over 400 companies, have announced the launch of the of the "Binario Italia" task force to promote a joint action towards the Italian institutions, including the editorial staff of a joint paper, useful for promoting the relaunch of the sector rail logistics in the short and long term, recognizing its strategic value for the entire production system of the country. The initiative launched today at the CNEL headquarters in Rome was signed by Sabrina De Filippis, vice president of Agens (Confindustria) with responsibility for Italian and European policies on freight transport, Armando De Girolamo, president of Assoferr, Umberto Ruggerone, president of Assologistica, Mauro Pessano, president of Fercargo, and Clemente Carta, president of Fermerci.
