The Italian associations in the freight transport sector on
Ferro, representing over 400 companies, have announced the launch of the
of the "Binario Italia" task force to promote
a joint action towards the Italian institutions, including the editorial staff
of a joint paper, useful for promoting the relaunch of the sector
rail logistics in the short and long term,
recognizing its strategic value for the entire production system
of the country. The initiative launched today at the CNEL headquarters in Rome
was signed by Sabrina De Filippis, vice president of
Agens (Confindustria) with responsibility for Italian and European policies

It is never necessary to take concrete action to support a crucial sector

The commitment made today, the associations explained, "aims to
transform the current condition of fragility of the sector into
a relaunch aimed at stability, efficiency and
competitiveness. A challenge that requires targeted interventions and a
coordinated engagement with institutions and all the actors involved,
so that rail freight transport can
finally express its full potential and become a pillar
strategic for the growth of the Italian production system".
