Name-calling' finds new targets Sydney Ports Corporation boss Greg Martin has rejected claims made recently by Patrick and Federal Minister for Workplace Relations Peter Reith that Port Botany is the "worst port in the world". Kembla rail link contract signed Port Kembla Port Corporation hopes to boost annual trade through its southern NSW port by 500,000 tonnes through a $4 million twin-track rail spur scheduled to be operational by mid-1998. The corporation announced last week it had signed a contract with the NSW Rail Services Authority for a 1.5 km line to connect the main southern line in NSW to the port Kembla Multi Purpose berth, linking Illawarra region to the Murray, Murrumbidgee and Central West.
