Néanmoins, face à des grèves qui durent depuis plus d'une semaine, s'intéresser au dossier n'est tout de même pas gonfler un fait mineur. D'abord, car certaines organisations professionnelles affirment: "L'avenir de Marseille-Fos est en cause." Ensuite, parce que l'Etat se montre incapable de faire respecter la loi par ses propres troupes (fonctionnaires et agents des services publics); ce qui est tout de même un comble quand on prétend accueillir plus de plates-formes logistiques internationales dans les ports.

    La division European Logistics du groupe britannique de transport et de logistique Hays a obtenu le contrat pour la distribution européenne de pièces détachées et d'accessoires du constructeur de poids lourd italien Iveco. Le contrat porte sur une période de cinq ans et représente un montant de 200 millions de GBP. Par ailleurs, le contrat avec la chaîne de distribution britannique B&Q a été étendu.

Toutefois, on ne parle plus beaucoup de PC de 4.000 à 4.500 TEU de type panamax, ce sont surtout des PC post-panamax qui sont commandés, unités aujourd'hui allant de 5.000 à 7.000 TEU.
