La transaction porte sur les services, le réseau terrestre d'OTAL en Afrique et deux navires, sans oublier les contrats d'affrètement se rapportant à d'autres unités. Le contrat prévoit que le QG d'OTAL restera à Londres, que son management sera maintenu, que la gestion de cette entreprise restera indépendante, de même que son réseau en Afrique.
