MAN va acheter ERF Le constructeur canadien de poids lourds Western Star et le groupe allemand MAN ont annoncé un accord de principe sur la vente du constructeur britannique ERF. Dans un accord séparé, il a été conclu que Western Star achètera les activités de MAN en Australie. Cette opération permet au constructeur allemand de doubler sa pénétration en Grande-Bretagne et de la porter à 16%. Cette acquisition intervient quelques jours à peine après le rachat de la totalité des actions du constructeur polonais Star.
