    La société de transport routier DSV a annoncé hier lundi avoir acheté DFDS Dan Transport pour un montant de 5,5 mia. de DKK (738 mio. d’EUR), à savoir 3,5 mia. de DKK de prix d’achat et 2,5 mia. de DKK de dettes. L’opération doit encore être soumise à une assemblée générale extraordinaire des actionaires de DSV, des autorités anti-cartel danoises et bien sûr des autorités européennes. Cet examen sera nécessaire: DSV a acheté il y a quelques années un autre acteur majeur sur la scène danoise, à savoir l’ancienne filiale Samson de Géodis. Avec DFDS Dan Transport, DSV deviendra de ce fait un des plus grands transporteurs scandinaves, avec un chiffre d’affaires cumulé de 18 mia. de DKK (2, 42 mia. d’EUR). DFDS, par ailleurs, a annoncé vouloir utiliser le produit de cette vente pour se renforcer dans le shipping, tant par croissance organique que par croissance externe.

  • Luxembourg: les syndicats exigent la semaine de 48h dans le transport routier
    Les syndicats de transport adhérés aux fédérations internationales ITF et ETF ont hier au Luxembourg exhorté les ministres européens des Transports à mettre en place des conditions de travail humaines et sociales dans le transport routier professionnel. Une des exigences spécifiques était une semaine de 48 heures au sein de l’ensemble de l’UE pour tous les chauffeurs, également les “chauffeurs indépendants”. Selon les syndicats il faut également mettre un terme aux pratiques de dumping des transporteurs routiers de l’Europe de l’Est. Les syndicats de transport soutiennent leurs revendications en bloquant temporairement les frontières entre le Luxembourg d’une part et la Belgique, la France et l’Allemagne d’autre part. Le blocus a commencé dimanche soir et a été levé au courant de lundi matin. Le transport de personnes n’a guère été entravé.
