Petit détail ne manquant pas de piquant, ce sel marin est obtenu de manière naturelle et biologique mais, vu qu’il ne provient pas de la Communauté douanière européenne (UE+ALEA+Visegrad), il est taxé à hauteur de 2,6 EUR par tonne.
