    Un an et demi après la fusion, l’armement Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines se porte bien, les résultats sont plus que satisfaisants. “Nous avons respecté le timing prévu”, a dit Ingar Skaug, président et CEO de la nouvelle compagnie lors d’un face à la presse donné mercredi dernier au QG du partenaire Wilhelmsen à Oslo, réunion à laquelle participaient plusieurs cadres impliqués, notamment Richard H Lawson, président de la division Inland Logistics, et E. Maurissen, managing director Belgian Branch qui gère le terminal de Zeebrugge.
  • ABX va acquérir Testud et Delagnes (via Dubois)
    Après le rachat de Dubois au début de cette année, ABX Logistics a annoncé jeudi à Paris le rachat de deux sociétés supplémentaires en France: Testud et Dealgnes. Ces acquisitions sont destinées à compléter la couverture de l’Hexagone en messagerie, Dubois n’arrivant à desservir de manière finement maillée que 50% du territoire. Ces deux entreprises de messagerie régionale couvrent le Sud-Est et le Centre-Ouest d’une part, et le Sud-Ouest de l’autre. Cinq sociétés devraient suivre dans les tous prochains jours. Par ailleurs, la direction de Dubois a annoncé lors de la conférence de presse que cette société s’appellera désormais ABX Logistics France. La filiale française d’ABX a l’intention de devenir un des trois plus grands réseaux de messagerie en France.
  • TAB nouvel opérateur rail/route en France
    Lors de la dernière édition SITL (Semaine Internationale du Transport & de la Logistique), la société TAB (Transports Auto Brunier) annonçait pour le 1er septembre l’ouverture d’une ligne quotidienne France/Italie en combiné rail/route. L’échéance initiale n’a pas été tenue pour des raisons diverses, mais le service démarre aujourd’hui. Deux caractéristiques importantes méritent d’être notées. D’une part, c’est en réalité le grand groupe Vivendi qui se lance sur ce marché. D’autre part, la SNCF (chemins de fer français) pourrait bien avoir des explications à fournir aux instances de Bruxelles.

Cette ordonance offre la possibilité à la Commission d’imposer de lourdes amendes dans le cas où des parties omettent de signaler une concentration aux autorités européennes ou mettent en place une concentration sans l’approbation de la Commission.
