  • Rail/route: vers un accord belgo-franco-italien en containers
    Si l’on en croit Louis Gallois, président de la SNCF, il faut s’attendre à l’annonce imminente d’une alliance belgo-franco-italienne en ce qui concerne les pré/post-acheminements de containers en rail/route. Une autre annonce fracassante a été faite par Jean-Claude Gayssot, ministre français chargé notamment des transports. Elle concerne cette fois très directement le combiné rail/route. Ce dernier devrait en effet bénéficier d’aides à hauteur de 762 millions d’EUR (5 milliards de FRF). Dans le même esprit, ajoutons encore : d’une part, que la SNCF doit créer une “agence des sillons” pour mettre un terme à une situation très défavorable au fret; d’autre part, que le président Gallois estime désormais avoir une proposition concrète à faire pour limiter l’impact des grèves.

C’est ce qu’a déclaré le professeur Niko Wijnolst de Nederland MaritiemLand lors de l’ouverture de Freight Select International 2001 organisé mercredi et jeudi dernier (le 31 octobre et le 1er novembre) au terminal de croisières à Rotterdam.

Par ailleurs, la Ministre Isabelle Durant se dit maintenant favorable à la constituton d’un holding devant permettre à terme la sortie d’ABX du giron de la SNCB. Selon les bruits de plus en plus persistants, ABX pourrait avoir à l’avenir à sa tête Etienne Schouppe qui, serait remplacé à la tête de la SNCB par le ministre Luc Van den Bossche.

    Le Moniteur belge du 1er novembre 2001 publie un arrêté royal et ministériel modifiant la structure et les tarifs des accises sur le diesel. Un droit spécial d’accise de 600 BEF (14,87 EUR) par 1000 litres sera prélevé, portant les accises sur le diesel à 4.300 BEF par 1.000 litres. Indignée, la Febetra a adressé un courrier au Premier ministre.
