    Le producteur de composants américain Visteon est parvenu à étendre au Mexique son contrat avec Renault, limité jusqu’à présent à l’approvisionnement d’usines européennes. L’unité de production au Mexique, chargée de la fabrication du tableau de bord pour la Scenic, fabriquera à partir de novembre également le tableau de bord de la nouvelle Renault Clio qui sera produite au Mexique. Visteon fournira également le système d’air conditionné pour ce modèle.
  • NOL: les activités de ligne pèsent sur le bénéfice (-78%)
    Le groupe de transport et de logistique Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) a enregistré au cours des six premiers mois de cette année une hausse du chiffre d’affaires de 6% à 2,3 milliards d’USD. Le bénéfice a toutefois chuté de 78% à 11 millions d’USD. Le bénéfice avant impôts a régressé de 36% à 78 mio. d’USD. Selon le CEO du groupe, Flemming Jacobs, ceci est dû à l’impact du ralentissement de la croissance économique sur les activités d’APL dans le secteur du liner. Les deux autres activités de base, APL Logistics et la division citernière American Eagle Tankers, ont fourni une contribution positive tant au chiffre d’affaires qu’au bénéfice.
