En revanche, le versement d’indemnités a été annoncé avec une réduction sur les factures du mois d’avril et des délais de paiement plus longs. Rien que pour le fret, le coût de la grève représente déjà plusieurs centaines de millions de FRF.
  • Amsterdam: Ceres Paragon annoncerait prochainement son premier grand client
    “J’espère pouvoir annoncer un premier grand client pour le nouveau terminal Ceres Paragon d’ici la fin du mois prochain”. Chris Kritikos le PDG du groupe américain Ceres, qui exploite de nombreux terminaux portuaires aux Etats-Unis, de passage ces jours-ci à Amsterdam dans le but d’examiner de visu l’évolution de l’aménagement d’un grand terminal à containers dans l’Amerikadok, outil de conception révolutionnaire, n’a pas tenu à mettre un nom sur ce futur client, pour la bonne raison que les opérateurs n’ont pas l’habitude de faire des annonces prématurées, préférant annoncer la couleur à la dernière minute. Il a été moins évasif en nous annonçant que ce trafic pourrait concerner soit le secteur atlantique, soit la relation Europe-Asie.

    La Suisse a suspendu l’interdiction de circuler la nuit pour les camions afin de désengorger la principale autoroute nord-sud via le tunnel du Gothard avant Pâcques. L’IRU applaudit à cette initiative mais souligne qu’il s’agit d’une solution locale à court terme, alors que le problème est régional et de longue durée. L’organisation internationale du transport routier demande dès lors à la Suisse de mettre en place les mesures nécessaires à une mobilité continue des personnes et des marchandises.
