    A la fin du mois d’octobre de l’année dernière, la compagnie maritime Anmar Line lançait un service de ligne régulière axé sur le conventionnel/breakbulk et les cargaisons de projet entre Anvers, la Turquie, la Grèce et la mer Noire, à la fréquence d’un départ tous les 21 jours. Après un an d’activité, le bilan que présentent les responsables de la ligne et son agent anversois, la firme Manta Agencies, est largement positif. La compagnie aligne en permanence trois unités affrétées du même type, de l’ordre de 5.900/6.000 t.dw. L’armement a déjà réalisé seize voyages et aura transporté cette année 80.000 metric ton de fret southbound (dont 20% constituent la part des projets) et 107.000 mt de fret composé de lots complets northbound (cargaisons en provenance de Turquie, de Grèce, de Roumanie et de Bulgarie). Le chiffre d’affaires se situe au niveau de 5 millions d’USD. L’opérateur entend bien poursuivre sur sa lancée et envisage de nouvelles expansions.
  • Tryggve Sthen (VGT) n’exclut pas “une industrie du camion à deux acteurs mondiaux”
    Tryggve Sthen, le PDG de Volvo Global Trucks (la division de Volvo AB chapeautant Volvo Tricks, Renault V.I. et Mack), estime que la consolidation dans le secteur du camion va se poursuivre, et il n’exclut pas que l’on aboutisse à une industrie dans laqelle il n’y aurait plus que deux acteurs d’importance mondiale.
