C’est ce qu’a déclaré un responsable du bureau d’enquête. La cause de ce qui semble bien être un accident n’est toutefois pas encore connue. Pour l’ensemble du secteur aérien mondial et pour l’économie, les experts ont intérêt à travailler vite et bien.
  • Ikea confie une partie de son transport ferroviaire à Railog
    Railog, la joint-venture entre Deutsche Bahn et Schenker, a conclu son premier contrat externe. Elle intervient depuis peu pour la logistique du géant du meuble suédois vers l’Allemagne et l’Autriche. Une nouvelle à faire remarquer, étant donné que Ikea a créé en début d’année sa propre filiale ferroviaire dans le but “de se charger du transport ferroviaire pour influencer de la sorte le marché”. On n’a pas pu nous dire en Suède quelle sera la fonction précise de Ikea Rail à l’avenir. Et ce n’est pas tout, le manager Beijbom n’était pas du tout heureux que Railog a diffusé ce communiqué de presse.
  • Chargeurs et opérateurs ont un rôle déterminant à jouer dans la progression du rail
    La 14e conférence-exposition “Intermodal 2001”, qui a ouvert ses portes lundi à Hambourg, a démarré sur une notre assez optimiste en ce qui concerne l’avenir de ce vecteur primordial pour l’intermodalisme qu’est le rail. Ce sentiment s’explique de deux manières. D’une part, les spécialistes et professionnels du transport terrestre sont de plus en plus nombreux à considérer que l’ère de l’interopérabilité qui s’annonce, constitue en fait la dernière chance pour le rail de s’imposer sur la scène du transport intra-européen, car via ce biais la Commission européenne va progressivement pouvoir surmonter l’obstacle des immuables compétences des Etats membres (du moins, c’est ce qu’on espère). D’autre part, il s’avère que les initiatives de grands chargeurs et opérateurs de gabarit international commencent à avoir un impact de plus en plus marquant tant sur les stratèges de l’UE que sur certains réseaux européens.
