Une même tendance semble se dessiner aujourd’hui au niveau des terminaux fluviaux.

    Le groupe néerlandais de groupage/expédition et de logistique Frans Maas vient d’annoncer une extension de son réseau aux extrémités de l’Europe. Il vient en effet de procéder à l’acquisition d’une société d’expédition en Finlande, GT-Trans, et de créer sa propre société en Turquie. Cette dernière servira dans un premier temps de relais dans le réseau pan-européen de transport, mais devra également devenir active dans la logistique, nous a annoncé le président de l’entreprise, Henk Benjamins.

    L’armement norvégien LaLine, qui assure un service régulier containérisé entre l’Europe du Nord et la Norvège et qui touche régulièrement le port scaldien, donne une nouvelle dimension à son opération. Non seulement il ajoute un navire sur cette route, ce qui lui permet de scinder la rotation en deux services distincts avec escales à ,jour fixe, mais il ajoute également deux ports à ses dessertes, à savoir Oslo en Norvège et Zeebrugge en Belgique.
  • Mory Group s’attend à une forte hausse du chiffre d’affaires en 2001
    Le groupe français de transports et de logistique Mory a vu son chiffre d’affaires progresser de 13% à 610 millions d’EUR (4,07 mia. de FRF) en 2000, mais sa rentabilité a souffert de la hausse du diesel et des 35 heures. La logistique a progressé de manière très prononcée, de sorte que l’activité traditionnelle, la messagerie, ne représente plus désormais que 50% du chiffre d’affaires. Cela est conforme à la politique du groupe, dont la palette de services s’est élargie ces dernières années. Pour cette raison, le groupe présidé par Alain Bréau a décidé d’adopter une nouvelle appellation commerciale, à savoir “Mory Group”.
