    Un nouveau projet d’accord sur l’adaptation de la réduction du temps de travail (RTT) aux spécificités du transport routier a été présenté aux partenaires sociaux en France. Il prévoit entre autres que la messagerie serait exclue des dispositions dérogatoires. “Il serait impossible d’accepter cela”, ont annoncé les co-présidents de TLF, Alain Fauqueur et Alain Bréau, lors que la “Soirée annuelle” de leur fédération. Ils ont dès lors formulé une proposition portant sur la modification du texte en question. Par ailleurs, ils ont annoncé que le gouvernement français défendra le principe de la ristourne sur la fiscalité du carburant (c’est-à-dire le gasoil professionnel) face à la Commission européenne.

    La direction du port fluvial de Lille témoigne d’un vif intérêt pour deux projets belges, à savoir l’intention du port de Gand de relancer un terminal à containers fluvial et le projet du port de Zeebrugge de d’implanter une plate-forme dans la zone portuaire gantoise. D’un entretien avec Denis Demailly, directeur du développement du port de Lille, il ressort que des contacts sont établis avec ces deux ports belges en vue de développer certains services containérisés fluviaux, étant donné que c’est sous ce seul angle que les Lillois voient les choses.
