La valeur ajoutée du port dAnvers a augmenté de 9,2% en 2000 A loccasion de la clôture de lexercice du Forum financier de la région dAnvers, Jan Smets, directeur de la Banque Nationale de Belgique (BNB), a présenté hier à la maison provinciale les résultats actualisés relatifs à limportance économique des ports maritimes flamands, et dAnvers en particulier. Il en ressort que la valeur ajoutée du port scaldien a augmenté en 2000 de 9,2% à près de 6,6 mia. dEUR. Léchevin du port, Delwaide, qui a tenu un discours sur la vision stratégique pour lavenir du port, a déclaré espérer que ces chiffres feront davantage prendre conscience à Bruxelles de limportance des activités portuaires pour léconomie belge.
