    Trois scénarios ont été étudiés concernant l’avenir: l’un prévoyait de continuer comme tel en espérant trouver un partenaire d’ici la fin de 2003 ou le début de 2004; le deuxième prévoyait l’arrêt immédiatement des activités d’ABX par la fermeture des filiales allemande, française et néerlandaise et la vente immédiate des filiales belge et italienne; et le troisième, qui prévoyait la création d’une société holding qui comprendrait les filiales rentables d’ABX, la SNCB conservant les trois filiales déficitaires le temps de leur assainissement. C’est ce troisième scénario qui a été retenu pour le plan de sauvetage d’ABX Logistics.
  • La SNCB devrait perdre plus d’un milliard d’EUR cette année
    Si aucune mesure n’est prise, si on contine comme aujourdhui, la SNCB sera confrontée à une dette de 10 mia. d’EUR, voire de 12 mia. d’EUR. C’est ce qu’a annoncé Karel Vinck jeudi soir lors d’une conférence de presse. Aussi a-t-il dit qu’il travaille à un plan d’entreprise pour trouver, à partir de l’analyse du problème des liquidités, une solution à ce problème. Ce plan sera soumis au gouvernement dans la première moitié de 2003. Vinck et le directeur financier de la SNCB, Luc Lallemand, ont analysé la situation financière au cours d’une conférence de presse. Il en est également ressorti que cette année, la SNCB clôturera l’exercice 2002 sur une perte de 1,07 mia. d’EUR.
