    In the first half of 2002 the globally operating logistics group Kuehne & Nagel had an increase in turnover of 2.1 per cent to 4.2 billion Swiss Francs (CHF), 2.9 billion euro. The gross profit improved by 24.4 per cent to CHF 952 million (656 million euro) versus the same period last year.

Pour cet armement, c’est là l’occasion d’une grande première en ce sens qu’il assure par lui même cette commande dans sa totalité, n’ayant pas comme d’habitude recours à des compagnies maritimes de financement pour une partie du tonnage, moyennant contrats d’affrètements à long terme.
