Throughput of Latvian Ports in 2002

SeaNews

The overall throughput of the 10 Latvian ports in January-December 2002 made up 52.15 mn tons, which is a 8.4% minus on 2001.

According to the information given by the Latvian Communications Ministry, over 55% of the throughput falls on the port of Ventspils, which handled 28.704 mn tons of cargo (-24%).
