LUKoil to Sell Transport Assets

On June 2, LUKoil announced the company's preliminary consolidated results for 2002. The net profit was down by $109 mn. The same day LUKoil's VP Leonid Fedun confirmed LUKoil intends to sell some of its assets.

Thus, LUKoils's freight forwarding division LUKoil-Trans is to sell 5 thousand rail tanks. According to Dmitry Dolgov, press secretary of LUKoil, the company will also sell its tanker fleet ......
