Shenzhen throughput closing in on Hong Kong's

SHENZHEN recorded a container throughput of 1.08 million TEU in September, just 10,000 TEU shy of Hong Kong's figure last month.
According to the Hong Kong Port Development Council, the territory's Kwai Chung Terminal handled 1.09 million TEU in September.
Shenzhen also beat out perennial China number one port, Shanghai, in the container throughput stakes in September ......
